Declutter Your Atlanta Apartment

A cluttered Atlanta apartment is often considered largely as a reflection of a cluttered mind. Whether you buy this opinion or not it’s a given fact that none of us like clutter around us. However, it’s another story though that we might feel a little lazy to declutter our lawns, store rooms and our closet. Every morning we look at it and promise ourselves to clean it up but it doesn’t come that easy. Sometimes the thought of pending cleaning works on our mind and is more tiring than the actual cleaning act.
But some things however boring it may sound need to be done and the sooner the better. In fact if you plan the declutter your Atlanta apartment in a step by step process and do one area or a room at a time it would be less tiring and it is better to attack the most cluttered place first rather than saving it for last, because you will be tired after cleaning up some corners and if difficult ones are left for later then the difficult gets more difficult.
Different rooms and areas within an Atlanta apartment would require different types of and amounts of decluttering. Lets say – the front yard, if you are living on the lowest floor, the face of your Atlanta apartment should be given first preference if you are doing the decluttering for an instant face lift to begin with and then want to pursue the real cleanup process. Look out for all the empty plant pots and rotten unattended old plants and remove them.
The next target area could be the entry point of your Atlanta apartment is the entrance door. Have a second look at the door and if you now feel that your eyes have gotten tired of looking at the dusty door with stains and scratches then clean that up with a good cleaning agent and color it up. Ensure that the foyer is not cluttered with the coats and shoes.
The living area that is normally perceived as the outsiders’ limiting area, that is if one has to go beyond the living area then the person has to be a friend or probably an invitee for a lunch who can again is not normally expected to go beyond dining room. Bedrooms and other rooms are often not open to all guests. Hence the guests are going to spend a lot of time in the living area with good amount of time looking at the walls and things around the living room area. So you have a good reason to clean up the living area as well on regular basis.
Things like exercising equipment, too many chairs, extra furniture form the most common kinds of clutter, replace them with some fresh indoor plants and a few essential pieces of furniture. The minimal look is in, in terms of fashion and it also gives your Atlanta apartment living room a spacious and inviting look.
Next in the list comes the kitchen. The areas under the sink and the cabinets are the most common cluttered areas in the kitchen. Tell yourself its time for charity and give out all the old crockery that you haven’t been using after buying the new set. Avoid keeping the dustbins close to the cooking area and never keep the bins open.
The bedrooms and the closets again become the place to keep all the unorganized stuff that hasn’t found a dedicated storage place. Pull out all the misplaced stuff and decide what goes where. The laundry room is yet another area that becomes the store house of many small things, take them out and put them in the store room or donate them to charity again.
Take these steps and soon you will have a clutter free Atlanta apartment.
